The ancient and historic Colquite Estate can be dated back at least to beyond the doomsday survey when its owner then was Robert, Count of Mortain.

The greatest landowner in Cornwall and second only to the King of England. Its ownership can be traced from the present day with unusual continuity and clarity.

Colquite is located 7 miles from the north Cornish coast and 4 miles from Wadebridge. Colquite is a five minute drive from the A30 which now provides excellent access to Exeter, just one hour’s drive away.

In Exeter there is a 125 rail service to London which takes approx 2 hours. This service can also be picked up at Bodmin Parkway which is the nearest station to the Estate – Bodmin to Paddington is a 4 hour journey.

The airport at Newquay is approximately a 20 minute drive from Colquite and provides domestic flights to Gatwick Airport which is roughly a 75min journey.

Transfers can be arranged to and from the Estate but should be booked before you arrive.
